The Snowflake Slippers are worked flat in sections. You start by knitting the back of the heel in stocking stitch, then pick up stitches along the sides and work the snowflake motif from the chart. The sole is knitted afterwards, and an i-cord edge is added to finish. The slippers are assembled and then felted in the washing machine to create a thick, dense fabric with a snug, cosy fit.

Snowflake-tøflene strikkes flatt i flere deler. Først strikkes baksiden av hælen i glattstrikk, deretter plukkes masker opp langs sidene, og stjernemotivet strikkes etter diagram. Så strikkes sålen, og til slutt legges det opp masker til en i-cord-kant. Tøflene monteres og toves deretter i vaskemaskinen for å få et tykt og tett materiale med en god og varm passform.
