Snowflake Socks
The fourth pattern in my Snowflake series. These socks are knit in the round all done using size 2 DPN needles (size med/lrg). It is not necessary to change to smaller needles for the ribbing. The stitch count changes in pattern Rows 3 and 9 but don’t stress, your stitch
count goes back to normal in the next odd numbered row. Pay attention when you get to Row 5, that one seems to cause the most un-knitting if you get caught off guard. It’s a good idea to use a life line on row 12, at least for the first few pattern repeats. This pattern utilizes the vintage Snowflake stitch - not beginner friendly but beautiful and definitely worth the effort. If you enjoy knitting lace but are not a fan of charts this is the pattern for you. Easy to follow words and a 12 row repeat. Every other row is a knit around.
