Materials:

• “For the SP-snowflakes you may use any size thread with matching hook. Size 30 thread makes elegant SP snowflakes.”
• Ring snowflakes: Size 10 bedspread cotton, size 9 steel US crochet hook (1.4 mm).
• Plastic rings: 1 1/8”, 1 3/4”, 2” made by Boye, Bates, or E-Z available at craft shops
• Fabric stiffener. A home recipe for glue and water stiffener is provided.
• Blocking supplies.
• Cross-stitch supplies for ring centers (optional)

The snowflake patterns include ring and non-ring versions of the same snowflake. The patterns are based on the same three beginning rounds. They may be started with a chain ring or adjustable ring.
