Snowflakes & Snowsneks
This snowflake-inspired twist on a Slytherin house scarf will quickly become a favorite! I designed it with a few principles in mind:
1) Cool color changes
Silver gradually fades to green like snowflakes melting on grass
2) No weaving in ends!
They are the bane of my existence
3) No purling!
Not quite the bane of my existence, but definitely up there
4) Easy but interesting
Basically mindless knitting with just a little something to break up the monotony
To knit this beauty you will need around 200 yards or so of bulky yarn for your main color and about 100 yards or less of a bulky yarn for your contrasting color. I used size 10 double point needles and a special cast on/ bind off technique to close the ends of the scarf. The pattern is flexible enough that you can alter it to your desired dimensions or easily keep it as is. Enjoy!
