I originally created this pattern as a mukluk to wear over pointe shoes during warm-up. It later became apparent that I wasn’t going to be able to fit these over my pointes, but I still wore them during warm-up as a pair of socks. The fair isle stitching makes these socks very stretchy to conform to your foot and calf, and also makes them very toasty! These are a great pair of socks to have on hand during Fall and Winter, even if you don’t dance at all!
