Make this cute, jolly snowman bauble to hang on your Christmas tree or give as a festive gift. Perfect as a stocking filler!

The finished bauble pictured in this pattern measures approximately 6cm in diameter and was made with 100% cotton DK yarn and a 3.5mm crochet hook. If you’d like to make a larger version, use thicker yarn and/or a larger hook, or a smaller version with thinner yarn and/or a smaller hook.

This pattern uses two colours for the snowman’s hat and scarf, but you could substitute these for any colours you choose.

Black yarn for eyes and mouth – approx 2m
Orange yarn for carrot nose – approx 3m
Hat colour 1 (grey in this pattern) – approx 28m in total:
– main part of hat: approx 20m
– scarf: approx 8m
Hat colour 2 (burnt orange in this pattern) – approx 17m in total:
– hat edge: approx 8m
– pompom: approx 4m
– binding for edge of hat: approx 5m (this step is optional)
Toy stuffingapprox 25g
3mm ribbon for hanging loop – approx 40cm
