This Snowman Decoration is designed to hang from a Christmas tree, so it is lightweight. It is also quick to make and can be made from small amounts of yarn. I have used Double knit yarn throughout - shown here in Special DK by Stylecraft, but any double knit yarn should substitute.

You will need:
Small amounts of yarn in white, blue, black and orange.
4.5mm hook
Darning needle
Pompom - instructions are not included
“Made with love” tag (optional)
Eyes - you can buy toy eyes rather than using black yarn to embroider the eyes

Knowledge level
Chain, double crochet, increase, decrease, foundation double crochet, working into 1 loop, magic loop, simple embroidery and sewing.
Note: instructions are given for alternatives to using the magic loop and foundation double crochet if you don’t like using these methods.
