Snowman Mason Jar Topper Crochet Pattern (PDF) U.S. Terminology

THIS PATTERN IS INTENDED FOR MASON JARS…MODEL USED IN MAKING THIS PATTERN AND SHOWN IN PHOTOS IS A WIDE MOUTH QUART SIZE BALL BRAND JAR. You should be able to use this on regular mouth canning jars as well as many other jars and cans. The Snowman just slips over the top and it has a stretchy body so it can stretch for wider items. Another use may be toilet tissue topper. I have used this over 2 regular size rolls of toilet tissue. So I am sure you will find many other uses for this adorable Wintery, Christmasy Snowman Decor.

Really good for Mason and Ball jar gift giving. I added some peanut brittle to one jar and some red and white star mints to another. These are gifts for the holidays.

MATERIALS:

Hook “G” 4.0 mm
4 Medium Yarn
White - I used I love this yarn from Hobby Lobby, 355 yrds.
Orange - I just used a bit of some 2 Medium I had in my scraps.
Red - I used Studio Classics by Nicole, comes in 372 yrds, not even going to use half.

Poly Fiber fill
Pair 12 mm safety eyes
(3) 3/4 inch black buttons
