This project did not require a lot of yarn -- less than 1/2 skein of white and even less in black.

You can decorate the face many ways:

1. Use small pompoms from Dollar Tree;
2. Use buttons;
3. Make crocheted eyes, nose and mouth;
4. Add holly and berries - crocheted, felt, or purchased small floral
5. Felt eyes, nose and mouth
6. Foam eyes, nose and mouth
