I made this blanket while dreaming up the perfect mountain-themed nursery, something soft, simple, and a little bit magical. The filet crochet design shows snowy peaks rising up from the base, and the effect is so sweet once the stitches start to come together.

I used mustard, dark blue, light blue, and white for mine, and I absolutely love how it turned out, a little playful, a little modern, and just warm and cosy enough to feel special. But you can totally make it your own with whatever colours you love or already have on hand.

The pattern is beginner-friendly (as long as you’ve got the basics down), and once you get into the rhythm, it’s a really relaxing one to work on. Whether you’re making it as a baby gift or adding something handmade to a nursery with an outdoorsy or mountain theme, this one’s such a lovely choice.
