SNUGGLE BUG Kids Sweater is worked in the Raglan method (i.e., top to bottom). First the yoke is worked in rows, then after we reach the yoke depth, we Slip stitch to form the round, the button slit is on the left shoulder. The body and sleeves are worked separately in rounds. The length of the sweater and sleeves can be easily adjusted by working more rounds. The yoke part is worked in Single Crochet, for the body and sleeves we use the beautiful Lemon peel stitch. The best part of this sweater is there is no sewing of the sleeves which makes it very comfortable for kids.

The pattern is written in US terms!

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner level

Materials needed:
• Yarns used: Merino Chunky yarn (50% Merino wool and 50% Acrylic) from Ice yarns, yardage 100mtrs/100gms. Using two colors will give a better look. I’ve used Emerald Green and Dark blue. (You can also try to work with 2 strands of 5ply yarn, but make sure to check gauge)
• Crochet hook: 7mm or any hook that meets the gauge
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Measuring tape
• Stitch markers
• 2 Large Buttons
• 1 Label/tag (Optional)

Gauge:
12 sts x 8 rows of lemon peel stitch = 4” (10cm)
