This pattern is based off of the necessity to bundle in cold Ontario winters and the love of tassels and cables. The scarf is wide enough to be worn around the shoulders indoors but long enough to be folded and wrapped like a scarf outside. It’ll be one of the few pieces of winter gear that you end up leaving on!

I started with a 400g skein of Bernat Softee Chunky and had around 75g left over. That includes the tassels! To take into account varying tension and tassels sizes, I added an extra 25g to the yarn amount required.

The gauge required is 10 stitches x 16 rows for 4 inches in garter stitch.
It works out to be around 70 inches long (minus the tassels) by 12.5 inches wide.

This is a quick knit and a great intro to cables. Thank you again to my wonderful testers!
You may sell finished objects but please don’t distribute the pattern.
