This is a top-down sock pattern worked on sport weight yarn, featuring a simple cable-and-rib pattern that is symmetrical on both socks. A great choice for your favourite sport weight sock yarn, and a quick knit compared to typical fingering weight socks!

This pattern has been fully updated in June 2016.

To execute this pattern, knitters will be required to:
• Work in the round
• Work knit and purl sts
• Work decreases (ssk, k2tog)
• Pick up sts
• Turning a heel

These socks are worked in the round from the cuff down, and use a heel flap with turned heel.

This pattern is written for a set of 4 double-pointed needles (DPNs). If you prefer to use Magic Loop method or set of 5 DPNs, please feel free to adjust the instructions to suit your preferred method.
