ABOUT THE BLOUSE:

The So So Frill Blouse No 2 is sophisticated and elegant round neck blouse with a little extra highlight with the Frills around the button band and the lace optic at the bottom.
Even though it can be worn to daily occasions it can also easily be styled to special occasions and works perfectly in the business context too.

The Blouse is knitted top down starting with the upper back. The body is later worked in rounds.

The sizes above are in accordance to European standard, with a circumference:

XS up to 86 cm
S up to 90 cm
M up to 95 cm
L up to 100 cm
XL up to 110 cm

SUGGESTED NEEDLES:

The Blouse is knitted on needle size 4,0 mm and 3,00 mm

GAUGE:

20 sts x 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm

The swatch is knitted in stockinette st with one strand silk lace and one strand silk mohair held together. An additional swatch in the pattern is not needed.

Remark: Except the Frills, the complete blouse is knitted with two strands one strand silk lace and one strand silk mohair held together.

MATERIALS:

To knit the blouse you need 100 /125 /125/ 150/ 150 / 150 g* of Silk Mohair from Ladybug Yarn 420m/50g using.

And 100 / 200 / 200 / 200 / 200 / 300 (?? Two skeins might work) g Silk Lace 800m/100g. The blouse on the photo is knitted in one strand silk mohair in the color Keshi together with one strand osilk lace in the color Naked .

You can use the same amount of any other Silk Mohair with the same length, e.g. soft silk mohair from Knitting for Olive 225m/25g, Silkhair from Lana Grossa 210m/25g or Kidsilk from Drops 210m/25g and also other lace yarn work as an alternative.

Of course, you can choose any other yarn as long as you obtain the right gauge. As a mohair free alternative, you can also work with one strand Cashmere Dreams from LANG yarns for example .

BUTTONS:

You need 5 Buttons for the button band in the size of 0,8 mm to 1,0 cm
