ABOUT THE CARDIGAN

The Comfy Cardigan is a classical V-Neck Cardigan which comes with pockets on both sides. It is knitted with two strands of yarn held together (Wild & Soft and Kid seta – both from Gepard garn). The structural part is a repetitive pattern that is easy to remember.

Construction of the cardigan: The cardigan is knitted top down starting with the upper back, stitches will be picked up at both shoulders to work the left and right front, the three pieces will be connected later. The sleeves are knitted top down, stitches will be picked up along the back- and front pieces. The Button band is added at the end incl. the button holes.

SIZES: XS to XL

GAUGE: 22 sts. and 26 rows knitted in the bean pattern

MATERIALS:

Wild & Soft – Gepard Garn (50g - 240m): 300 / 350 / 350 /350 / 400 g or 6 / 7 / 7 / 7 / 8 skeins.
and
Kid Seta – Gepard Garn (25g - 210m): 150 / 175 / 175 / 175 / 200 g or 6 / 7 / 7 / 7 / 8 skeins.

The cardigan on the photo is knitted with colour no 144 of Wild & Soft and colour no 405 of Kid Seta both from Gepard Garn.

Of course, you are free to use an alternative yarn that matches the gauge. An alternative could for example be Merino from Knitting for Olive (50 gr – 250m) held together with their soft silk mohair (25 gr – 225m)
