This fun and easy pattern has just enough interest to keep you going, but is easy to memorize so it’ll go quickly. The lacy panels are worked on the front and back for the leg, then only on the front of the foot. I used the eye of partridge heel flap for a pretty, sturdy and well-fitting heel.
Construction
These socks are worked Cuff down with a heel flap, gusset and Kitchener stitch grafted toes
Yarn
100 grams of sock yarn (fingering weight)
Needles and Notions
US 1.5 (2.5 mm) needles. 9” circulars, long circulars for magic loop or DPN’s; tapestry needle for weaving in ends and grafting.
Skill
advanced beginner. The lace pattern is simple. The pattern assumes some familiarity with sock knitting as no tutorials are provided.
