SoCal Fiber Fair 2025 Beanie: Leaves of Change
by Nancy Bates Designs

Life is full of change! From the changing of the seasons to everyday life. SCFF is growing and changing right along with you… moving into a larger building and welcoming more vendors. How exciting!

Let’s celebrate “Leaves of Change” together with this fun-to-knit design that’s easy enough for beginners yet engaging enough for advanced knitters. Truly, a can’t-put-it-down design.

This hat brings LOTS of opportunities for “changing it up” and personalizing it. Mix and match the color combinations. Use two or three colors instead of four. The leaves and bands of color can represent any season, from the bright colors of spring and summer or the oranges of autumn, to the greys of winter or even the colors of the holidays. Or, simply assemble all of your favorite colors, just for fun. Change or no change…it’s all up to you!
