Sock Hands Fingerless Gloves and Arm Warmers
I love stripey sock yarn, but I don’t love knit socks. My arms are also always cold, so I made these super simple, super stretchy little hand and arm warmers!
They stretch to fit a wide range of sizes. You can make them long enough to go up over your biceps, and they won’t sag down, and they’re small enough to throw in your purse without needing to bring a bulky jacket!
Yarn: Approximately 450 yds Fingering/Sock yarn split equally in half by weight.
These were made from one skein of Lang Jawoll Color, but any fingering weight yarn will work.
Needles: US 0 (2.0 mm) knitting needles (Long cable circulars for magic loop, DPNs, or small sock circulars depending on your preference)
Gauge: 13 st and 8 rows = 1” (2.5cm) in 2x2 ribbing unblocked
Measurements: Width (laid flat) = 2.75” (7cm) un stretched. 7.5” (19cm) fully stretched
Length varies depending on how much yarn you use
