In the last few years, I have always taken part in Sock Madness. Basically, it’s a speed knitting competition where all contestants knit like the wind to complete their socks. Of course, with a
race like this, minimum requirements have to be met to ensure a fair race - and a warning is given: competition socks may very well result in socks that will not fit the knitter and maybe not
even someone else.
What if - I made it possible that the sock I design for this year’s madness will fit most people?
In early 2021, I got the task of knitting a pair of socks for a 4-year-old girl. She is considered the family’s princess and loves pink and all things glittery and shiny.
And while I was knitting away (the cuff of the little princess socks looks remarkable like this one here), I was wondering: how would a yarn princess look? What would she look like? What would
she prefer?
So - pack your supplies and join me in this quest to find the outfit for your personal sock princess.
