The bag is designed to use scrap yarns. to get the approximate weight of yarn you should use chunky or Aran yarn. Two strands of DK or three strands of 4ply/fingering weight yarn obtain the same results.

This project is a way of letting small amounts of yarn have a useful life rather than sit is a scrap stash.

Please use it to create not only my sock bag but full sweater quantity bags as well by adding a 10 pairs to the cast on and knitting until you achieve a length that suits your needs.
