An easy men’s sock pattern with a little twist. The focus lies on a good fit and a fast and smooth knitting experience. These are my go-to socks when I quickly want something to warm me when temperatures get a bit colder.

You will knit these socks top-down, in the round on a needle set, with a heel flap/gusset, and a finish in kitchener stitch. While is indeed a tiny bit more complicated, it also produces superior results and I feel is worth the extra work.

The basic pattern is for a size 9 / 42. There are, however, detailed instructions on how to adjust the pattern to different sizes and shapes.

You will need around 180 yards of DK yarn, a needle set, and a cable needle to finish this pattern. A tapestry needle, scissors, and a tape will also be required.

All in all, this is quite a fast project and it should take about 12 hours to finish a pair.
