Meet Socket the Yarn Bot! He is soft, cuddly, and the friendliest robot you will ever meet!

I dislike crocheting and sewing a lot of pieces together to create a doll, so I designed Socket to be a mostly one-piece doll. The ONLY things you will have to sew on are the antenna and earpieces. You will have to attach yarn to make the arms and a leg, but there is NO sewing there. Yay!

You can make Socket in any size you want! To make one like mine, (he measures about 5.5in), use the suggested yarn and hook sizes. You can make him bigger or smaller by adjusting yarn and hook sizes accordingly! Yarn used is Sweet Roll Yarn in Frosty and yellow scrap.

Difficulty is fairly intermediate. You must be able to read patterns, and in addition, know how to:
-Chain
-Single crochet
-Increase
-Decrease
-Crochet in back or front loops only
-Sew crochet objects closed and attach pieces together

Along with yarn and a hook, you will need a yarn needle and safety eyes. (OPTIONAL: you could interchange buttons for eyes, or add buttons onto the doll. I also added a heart button onto his butt, but that is completely optional).

This eight-page PDF pattern includes complete instructions in American English for constructing your own Socket doll. Any questions? Leave a comment or email me at raven81999@gmail.com.
