This pattern is simple enough for beginners and it creates a stylish slouchy beanie. The recommended yarn results in an incredibly soft fabric with lovely drape… And it just gets softer with every washing. Any fingering weight yarn will work, though. Just adjust your hook size for gauge as needed.
