This pattern is available for free.

As its name says, this sock pattern is worked from the heel. The heel starts as a toes-up sock and then, increase to get the total sts needed to work the leg and foot.

In addition to the pattern, you will need the following material to knit Socks by the Heel:

Biscotte Yarns – Bis-Sock : 100 g skein of any self-striping colour (shown in Harvest colourway)
Circular needles of US 1.5 (2.5 mm) – 32 in (80 cm) or +
2 Stitch markers
Tapestry needle

Written in adult one size, this pattern can be easily converted for a smaller or larger size (you may knit the leg in plain stockinette instead of working the central lace pannel if you prefer).

Have fun ♥ !!
