Yagmur (means rain in Turkish) is a pair of delicate short lace socks, designed to be a simple and enjoyable knit.

The lace pattern is easy to memorise and creates a beautiful, airy texture without making the knitting complicated. They are a lovely little project when you want something pretty but relatively quick to knit.

This is not a fully detailed, step-by-step pattern. The file includes the lace chart together with written directions, so some basic knitting experience is required.

One of the things I love about these socks is how easy they are to customise. The pattern can be adapted to your preferred size, heel and toe, so you can use your favourite construction while keeping the Yagmur lace motif.

Skill level: Intermediate
