Choose one main color of fingering weight sock yarn and three contrast colors to knit these socks inspired by the Slipstravaganza Shawl. Begin with the 2x2 ribbed cuff followed by a striped honeycomb slip stitch motif. The heel flap features little slip stitch polka dots for a sturdy and decorative heel detail. The top of the foot features more slip stitch motifs with notes to help you customize the length for a perfect fit. Go bold with high contrast solid colors or try some splashy speckles with a contrasting main color for a more painterly effect.

Finished Measurements
6.5 (8, 9.5, 10.5, 12)″ / 17 (20, 24, 27, 30)cm leg and foot circumference. Measurements taken after blocking. These are the measurements of the sock.

Size 3 shown on a US 13 / EU 47 size foot with an actual foot circumference of 10″ / 25cm.

Socks are designed to fit an actual foot circumference of 7.5 (9, 10.5, 11.5, 13)″ / 19 (23, 27, 29, 33)cm. The socks are designed to fit with negative ease. Choose a size with a finished foot circumference measurement that is approximately 1″ / 2.5cm smaller than your actual foot circumference. Measure your foot around the center part of your foot. For example, if your actual foot circumference is 9″ / 23cm, then knit Size 2 of the sock. The sock should fit nice and snug on your foot with negative ease.
