Much of my knitted wardrobe consists of what I call basic sweaters – sweaters that are great for everyday use, and which can easily be spiced up for festive occasions. In other words, they work for most purposes. This sweater is another one of those sweaters. It is made with two strands of yarn on 4.5 mm needles, which means it takes no time at all. And it is knitted top-down, thus making it easy to adjust the size as you go. It has an eyelet pattern and cables around the raglan seam as well as a double neckline, which give it a beautiful and decorative look. And did I mention that it is really soft and warm?!
