Soft Serve was inspired by -- you guessed it -- soft serve ice cream! A sweet treat for any season :) The all-over texture of this gorgeous cardigan mimics the signature swirls of the soft serve cone.

Choose from crewneck or v-neck variations and work compound raglan shaping for a tailored fit around the shoulders and yoke. The crewneck uses short row shaping at the collar and is knit in the round, while the v-neck is worked flat through the yoke and joined in the round at the body.

You’ll cut the cardigan open (yes! We are steeking!), then pick up and knit the button bands, and the collar for the v-neck. An engaging project from start to finish, and you’ll have a lovely, elegant wardrobe staple at the end.

MATERIALS

Yarn:
Sport weight or DK weight wool or wool blend yarn, worsted or woolen spun, at least 2-ply for optimal stitch definition

Note that using sport weight and/or woolen spun yarn will create a thinner, more lightweight fabric with less stitch definition, whereas DK weight and/or worsted spun yarn will create a denser and warmer fabric with more stitch definition.
