Like swirls of creamy ice cream, Soft Serve wraps your neck in waves of yummy softness. As written, the scarf uses 4 balls of City Tweed, which is a delicious, squishy yarn and feels great against the skin…unlike ice cream, which would be cold and sticky! Maybe I should rename this thing. ;-)

Anyway, what we have is a long, drapey infinity scarf that’s easy to knit—plus it’s worked in the round, so it’s seamless. It offers a bunch of wearing options—long and loose, doubled, loop-knotted, or hooded. The understated design makes Soft Serve suitable for both men and women and its subtle texture adds body and makes a completely reversible, non-rolling fabric.

It’s easy to resize, just cast on fewer stitches or work fewer rounds, to customize the scarf to be exactly what you want. Just keep the stitch count a multiple of 6. Gauge is not critical.
