Soft Triangle Scarf
A simple scarf designed for everyday wear. Knit with a non-rolling edge, it’s ideal for beginners who want a timeless accessory.
YARN
Brown Sheep’s Lanaloft worsted (100% wool, 160 yards / 100g ball). 50 yards / 31g in Dark Ash used for sample.
EQUIPMENT + NOTIONS
Mid-gauge knitting machine (6.5 mm). Silver Reed’s LK150 was used for this sample. 3 prong transfer tool. Yarn needle.
GAUGE
18 stitches and 25 rows = 4 in/10 cm in stockinette at tension 6, blocked.
BLOCKING
Soak in lukewarm water, gently squeeze, shape on a flat surface and let air dry, lightly steam.
STITCHES + TECHNIQUES
E wrap cast on, increasing, decreasing, transfer tool bind off, blocking.
NOTES
Worked flat from tip to tip.
Always cast on with waste yarn and a ravel cord!
A soft, wool-like yarn will be the easiest to work with.
This simple pattern can be endlessly customized with different stitches, yarn sizes and color techniques. Get creative .
