DESCRIPTION
The SoHo Square is a bold and whimsical design with a seemingly straightforward geometry. While not everyone loves math, the scale of the graphics was created algebraically and the proportions are anything but random. Its magic is in how it dances the colors on your body. The SoHo Square is a pure pleasure project—from picking your color story, to the generosity of a garter knit, to its veins of moving color—it is like wearing your favorite song. The SoHo Square comes in three sizes: a wrap, a scarf, and a bandana called, The Wink. Choose your size and play along: whether you wrap yourself in abundant color or flirt with an insouciant Wink.

CONSTRUCTION
The SoHo Square is a meditation in garter using one color at a time. Its playful essence is created with three design elements: German short rows, bold stripes, and I-cord edging. German short rows that create the square’s visual diagonal (really the hypotenuse of first one triangle and then the other). You will cast on and set up your stripe sequence with fixed stitch markers. Five video tutorials are embedded within the pattern to guide you through the short rows, the color changes, and the applied I-cord edging.
