Solace is a generously sized right triangle shawl featuring regular increases and an easy to remember textured slipped stitch pattern finished off with a linen stitch border and an i-cord bind off.

It uses one strand of Solo and one strand of Zephyr marled together to give it ultimate softness and warmth. The size is easily adjusted by either adding or deleting pattern rows before the border section begins.

Suggested Yarn:
2 skeins of Barker Wool Solo
(100% Superwash fine Merino wool, single ply, fingering weight, 100g, 400m, 437 yds)
2 skeins of Barker Wool Zephyr
(75% Brushed Baby Suri Alpaca / 25% Mulberry Silk, lace weight, 50g, 300m, 328yds)

Shown here in the colorway Solace on Solo & Blueberry on Zephyr.

Needles: US size 9 (5.5mm) and US size 10.5 (6.5mm) on a 24” cable.

Gauge: 10 cluster pattern repeats x 16 rows = 4” x 4” after blocking.

Finished Measurements: approximately 40” tall x 75” L.
More yarn will be required if the size is increased.
