This pattern is quite old and no longer matches my current standards. I’m not planning to knit it again or revise it, so I’ve decided to make it a freebie from now on. Happy knitting!

Solaire is a casual and comfy pullover worked from bottom up, seamlessly in the rounds. The front of the pullover is ornamented with a beautiful lace panel while the back and the sleeves are knit in stockinette stitch.

Knoll Yarns Soft Donegal Fingering (100% Wool-Merino, 380m / 416y per 100g) or any other fingering weight yarn.
( 3, 4, 4 ) { 4, 4, 5 } ( 5, 5, 6 ) skeins or about ( 1095, 1199, 1303 ) { 1408, 1512, 1616 } ( 1721, 1825, 1929 ) m / ( 1197, 1311, 1426 ) { 1540, 1654, 1768 } ( 1882, 1996, 2110 ) y.
Shown in “5534 Gara” colorway.
Note that the yardage is estimated.

Needles
3.5 mm (US #4) circular needles and dpns, or size needed to get the right gauge;
3.25 mm (US #3) circular needles and dpns, or one size smaller than the gauge needles.
3.0 mm (US #2.5) circular needles and dpns, or two sizes smaller than the gauge needles.

Additional materials
stitch markers, row counter, spare needle in size 3.5 mm (US #4), waste yarn (optionally), tapestry needle for weaving ends.

Gauge
24 sts and 36 rows/rounds per 10 cm (4”) in Stockinette Stitch with 3.5 mm (US #4) needles, after wet blocking.
Adjust needle size if necessary to get given gauge.
