Feeling the cold? Wrap yourself in a giant, warm, squishy brioche sun!

Starting at the centre and growing to a half circle shape, this shawl uses two colour syncopated brioche to depict the sun. Finished shawl has an approximate length of 210cm/83” and width of 105cm/41”, after blocking.

800 m (880 yards) of each of two colours of fingering weight yarn are used. For best results choose two solid or semi-solid yarns in contrasting colours. The pattern is both written and charted. It also contains a schematic of the shawl and photo tutorials with step-by-step instructions for the more difficult sections.

Stitch abbreviations and chart symbols are based on those developed by Nancy Marchant.
