Introduction
This is a PDF crochet pattern for a whimsical star and moon tie front cardi.
This pattern comes with pictures and diagrams.
This crochet pattern is size-inclusive and aimed toward intermediate crocheters or confident beginners.

Sizing
There are four sizes included on this pattern, with support to adjust to your desired length.
The sizes includes are: 2XS/XS (S/M,L/XL,2XL/3XL).
The circumference of the bust options are as follows: 30 (40,50,60) inches.
The pattern is designed to give an approximate 0-6 inches of positive ease. The difference between each size is quite significant as it includes an additional square on each side.
If you are between sizes, please feel free to size up or down your hook and yarn weight.

Yarn and Yardage
Fingering weight / 4-ply yarn. I used stylecraft naturals bamboo and cotton (100g=273 yards)
Amount needed: 1229 (1366,1638,1775) yards

Construction
The solas tie front cardi is crocheted by first making all of the granny squares needed and then incorporating them into the front and back panels. There is support to make long sleeves, short sleeves or a vest. Warning that there is a fair amount of sewing involved in this pattern!

Gauge
3.5mm hook
21 sts x 10 rows = 4 inches worked over double crochet
