Solidago Mollis is a cozy cowl that uses slipped stitches to create a visually satisfying pattern with wonderful texture. Since it uses Malabrigo Rasta, it is a very quick knit, making it perfect for those times when you desperately need a little warmth or gift for yourself or someone else!

Materials
Yarn: Malabrigo Rasta-1 Skein-90 yards/150 grams or approximately 76 yards of a Super Bulky Yarn. Sample knit in Frank Ochre
Needles: US 13/9.0 mm 16-20 inch circular needle
Gauge: 9.5 sts and 13 rows= 4 inches in stockinette stitch
Notions: Cable needle, darning needle, stitch marker

NOTE
This stitch creates a very dense fabric after knitting. If you would like it to be a little looser than you could probably go up in needle size but keep in mind this would increase the yardage required. It does stretch a little when blocked.

Abbreviations, Definitions and Techniques
K-knit P-purl CO-cast on BO-bind off
Pm-place marker st/sts-stitch/stitches rep-repeat
S1wyb-slip 1 st with the yarn in back-bring the yarn to the back of your work, slip one stitch purlwise from the LH to the RH needle.

I would say that it is a 1 out of 5 for difficulty. It isn’t hard but if you have never done slipped stitches before then it can be a tiny bit tricky at first.
