Solskin Top
The top is worked top-down using the saddle raglan technique. It begins with a neckline shaped with short rows while simultaneously creating the saddle shoulder with increases in every row. After finishing the neckline and saddle, the sleeve width is shaped by increasing every other row. Then, increases are made for both the body and sleeves simultaneously (as in traditional raglan shaping), also every other row.
Once all the increases are complete, the top is divided into the body and sleeves. The body is worked in stockinette stitch in the round, followed by each sleeve, which is also worked in the round with gradual decreases toward the wrist. The stitches of the body and sleeves are finished with an i-cord bind-off. The neckline is also finished with an i-cord edge.
