“Solstice Rose” is a very feminine bandana cowl with a little bit of everything: bobbles, lace, cables and texture. It will sure keep you busy and entertained. Knit in DK yarn at a drapey gauge creates a snug and comfortable accessory around your neck druing chilly days. Happy knitting!

Size
One size
Circumference at neck opening: 55cm/21.75”.
Depth in the front: 48cm/19”.

Yarn
2 skeins of Oakworth DK by Eden Cottage Yarns (100% Polwarth; 233m/255y per 100g); Sample shown in Oak.
Or 350m/383y of any other DK weight yarn with similar yardage, which gives you the correct gauge.

Needles
4.0 mm/US #6 circular needle (80 cm/32” long).
4.5 mm/US #7 circular needle (80 cm/32” long) or one size bigger than main needle.

Other
3 stitch markers, cable needle, spare needle or cable needle (for joining round), tapestry needle for weaving, blocking pins.

Gauge
20 sts and 32 rows = 10 cm/4” in Stockinette stitch worked flat (after wet blocking).
The gauge isn’t crucial on this project, but differences will affect the finished size as well as the required yardage.
