SolSun was designed to be a simple gratifying knit. Nothing too difficult here. Lace short rows, in a complementary color, are inserted into an asymmetrical shawl; each section of lace increases in size as the shawl grows. It’s a fast knit with an easy to memorize repeat! My favorite kind of knitting. You can easily adjust the size of this pattern, try it on US size 10 needles, in worsted weight for a big cozy wrap.

Materials
U.S. Size 6 needles (4mm),
2 colors of fingering weight yarn;
Small- main color, 400 yds, contrast color, 200 yds,
Medium- main color, 600 yds, contrast color, 300 yds
Large- main color, 800 yds, contrast color, 300 yds

Pattern includes option for using Emma’s Yarn Practically Perfect smalls in lace sections for a multi color shawl in the small or medium size.

For the Medium I suggest one Hella Hank (Emma’s Yarn, 600 yds, MCN) for the main color. If your LYS doesn’t carry them you can find them here.
