“Something Different” is a 4 colour design but you can use as much or less colours you want.

For the 60 inch blankets as shown in the picture, I used Stylecraft Special DK
3x C1= Dark Brown / Emperor
3x C2= Gold / Pistachio
4x C3= Copper / Magenta
4x C4= Buttermilk / Cream
If you want to make the 80/85 inch blanket you’ll need approx twice the amount of yarn.

The options to make are: 10, 20, 40, 50, 60/65 and also 80/85 inch.
The size of the blanket shown in the pattern and on top of this page is 60 inch/153 cm square.
You can use 24 of the 10 inch squares around the 50 inch blanket, followed by the border to turn it into a 80/85 inch blanket.
And there are more options to make like a baby blanket or a cushion cover.
Instructions are given in the pdf.
The pattern is in English in US and UK terms.
As a photo tutorial and as written pdf with only one photo.

Links to videos for some of the special stitches are added into the pdf. Note the videos are using US terms.

There is a pdf to download with the yarn amounts and colours per round and for each size. This is based on Stylecraft Special DK worked with hook size 4mm/G.
Handy for if you are going to use your stash.
