The design:
Something Festive is a star garland decoration perfect for your holiday decorating. It can be made as long as you like just make a long cord and make as many stars as you would like to fit on the cord

Stitch abbreviations:

pm: Place marker
dc: Double crochet
sc: Single crochet
bpsc: Work the sc around the back post of the dc below
ch: Chain
skp: Skip stitch
sl st: Slip stitch
ch-sp: Chain space
V st: dc1, ch2, dc1 in the same stitch

Materials needed:
Something Festive was designed using a 4ply Mclana. Meterage used was approximately 120m - each star required approx 20m

The design using 120m is 1.4m long cord with 5 x 9cm stars spaced 20cm apart. You can make the design longer. I have included the length of long tail needed for different lengths in the stitch notes

Wool/darning needle

Gauge: not required

Recommended Hook size:
2.25-2.5 mm for 4ply or hook appropriate for your chosen yarn weight
