Maj is knitted from the top down in a striped textured pattern with a short sleeve that is knitted at the same time as the body and shaped with decreases at the armhole.
The sweater has a positive ease of about 10 cm (4 inches) and can be knitted with an A-line shape for more width over the hips or straight if so prefered.
The back piece is slightly longer than the front and is shaped with short rows.
The top is slightly higher at the back of the neck than at the front of the neck, and the neck opening can be knitted in several different ways.
The sleeve has a small decorative folded hem.
