Sommarøy Tunic
The Sommarøy Tunic is a stylish piece that can be worn either as a light summer dress for the beach or paired with trousers. The elongated-stitch technique is easy to knit and creates a beautiful texture on the tunic. It is knitted in the lovely Silk Linen, which has a beautiful surface and is perfect for warm days.
How to knit it
Sommarøy Tunic is worked top down, back and forth in a pattern with elongated stitches. First the back is worked all the way down, then stitches are picked up at the shoulders for the front, which is also worked to full length. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves and neckband. The slits are finished with a garter stitch edge.
