Sommersky (summer cloud) is a short/slightly cropped cardigan worked from the bottom edge and up with with an all over ribbed brioche pattern. The cardigan has long sleeves (modified drop shoulders).

The pattern is made for at yarn with a gauge of 22 stitches per 10 centimeters (main pattern) i.e. a yardage of approximate 300 meters per 100 grams. Pictured in hand dyed (dyed with cochenille) 100% merino sport from Chester Wool Company.

The pattern includes directions for a size S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL and 4XL with garment width/circumference 104 (111, 119, 128, 137, 146, 155) centimeters and a length of 52 (54, 56, 57, 58, 59, 59) centimeters.

This pattern is written for a knitter who is familiar with ‘knit/purl one below’ knitting (worked in the round as well as back and forth), a knitter who is able to follow written instructions and work increases, decreases and pick up stitches. The direction is written text.
