Crafting and creating can be such a beautiful reflection of our lives.
As knitters, we often reflect upon what was going on in our lives while we knitted a certain project, and it forever serves as a reminder of that specific event or time.

Each stitch contains a piece of what we were feeling while we worked…..joy, worry, excitement, and even sorrow.
Sometimes the knitting itself is the source of joy, and sometimes it is the distraction we need to escape reality for a few moments. On some occasions, this works and we are able to escape our sorrows, and on other occasions it doesn’t, and that’s ok.

The woven stitches in this shawl represent those emotions and life events we experience while we slowly stitch away, and it gives you permission to feel them all. This piece is meant to be savored and enjoyed, like all of life’s highs and lows, both while knitting it, and then while wearing it.
