This digital PDF is a pattern for a small handbag. It is a great pattern for knitters newly learning crocheting or crocheters newly learning knitting. The bottom of the purse is crocheted in the round, then stitches are picked up in order to knit the bag from bottom up.

Materials needed

• 12.0mm(US17) circular knitting needles
• 8.0-10.0mm crochet hook
• About one skein of super bulky yarn
• Stitch markers and darning needle
• An optional bag bottom insert for shaping

Gauge
10cm x 10cm (4in x 4in)
Knit Gauge: 7 stitches x 10 rows
Crochet Gauge: 8 stitches x 9 rows
