Soot & Cinders is a unique take on the traditional top-down triangle. Starting with a very, very long garter tab and then just moving on over to working the traditional triangle shawl increases with some simple garter and lace sections.

The very cool thing about this shawl is that by removing the beginning part of the traditional triangle you now have a very comfortable and wearable V shaped shawl. If you’ve ever found traditional triangle shawls constricting with too much fabric bunched up around your neck then Soot & Cinders will be a good fit for you!

This pattern includes fully written and charted instructions.
