Sophie is a sweater designed as a pause, a breath, from the collection “(Vi)Laines – Ode à Miyazaki”.

It is inspired by those simple, essential garments that we keep for a long time, the ones that go through the seasons and the years without ever losing their softness.

With a round neck, a raglan construction and knitted from the top down, Sophie takes shape around a wide front panel of fine cables. They settle in with regularity and restraint, adding texture without ever weighing down the silhouette, like a familiar motif that you rediscover with every glance.

The knitting moves along calmly, guided by a fluid, readable construction that leaves all the room for the pleasure of the gesture. Sophie is a sweater that you knit taking your time, and then wear as a matter of course: enveloping without being heavy, structured without stiffness.

Sophie is a piece that is both grounded and soft, an everyday sweater that speaks of an attachment to things well made, to carefully chosen materials, and to that quiet poetry that slips into the details. A garment for simple days, suspended moments, and the stories that are slowly woven, stitch after stitch ✨
