This slouchy cabled hat combines garter stitch and two different-sized cables. The hat is worn with the large round cable situated in the front and center, and the back side of the hat is a mirror of the front. The Small/Medium size as well as the slightly larger Medium/Large size both seem to work on very small adult petite heads and very large heads too. These three hats shown were all knit using a US 3 for the entire pattern. The shape relies on an easy increase row, and the 10 1/2 inch height gives the wearer a nice slouch but not so much for those who are looking for a more traditional fit. I had about 10 yards left of the Reywa, and enough of the Wonderland “Mad Hatter” to knit a second smaller hat.
