Sophie’s Sunday Best Cardigan was designed to compliment a pretty top or blouse.

The body has gentle A-line shaping which gives a feminine feel and the pretty collar can be knitted in the same or a contrasting colour to coordinate with an outfit.

The cardigan is knitted from the bottom up, in one piece to the armholes; the fronts and back are then divided and worked separately.
The set in sleeves are knitted flat and seamed. Stitches are picked up for the front bands and collar.

The pattern is suitable for the advanced beginner who has a little experience in garment construction.
Techniques used are: knit, purl, simple decreases/ increases. You will also need to keep the pattern correct while shaping occurs but the patterning is very simple.

To fit age approx: 6 m, 1 yr, 2 yr, 3 yr.
